Leader McConnell Meets With Lee Zeldin
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) issued the following statement today on his meeting with Lee Zeldin:
“I was glad to meet today with President-elect Trump’s nominee to serve as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Lee Zeldin. The EPA is in serious need of smart, clear-eyed leadership. Mr. Zeldin’s recognition that environmental stewardship and economic growth are not conflicting priorities is an encouraging sign for America’s conservationists and job creators, alike.”
